Diet
See the Essential Anti-cancer diet for more
detailed information. Most importantly cut out
all sugar including artificial sugars, and fried
foods. Try to eat "clean" ie more
fruit and vegetalbes. Recipe ideas can
be found here.
Juicing
Juicing is the best way to consume the needed
nutrients to help over come cancer, as well
as prevent it occuring in the first place. At
least three juicers per day containing a combination
of fruits and vegetables. Some good
ideas and combinations can be found here.
Exercise
Daily walking or rebounding
(small trampolene) are recommended ways to exercise
if any form of strenuous exercise is difficult.
Keeping your blood well oxygenated helps in
boosting the immune system, stimulates the lymphatic
system and improves general well being. Exercise
also boosts endorphines which help uplift mood.
Thinking positive
and relaxation
Depression, negative thinking
and emotions do nothing for helping us to maintain
a cancer fighting stance. When we are stressed,
adrenaline levels increase which supresses the
action of the immune system; therefore it is
very important to block these negative thoughts.
Calming and relaxing therapies such as massage,
reflexology and aromatherapy all play a big
part in ensuring a calm, stress free mind. See
Resources for websites where you can find qualified
practitioners.
Water consumption
Drink at least 8-10 glasses
of pure water per day to cleanse the body of
toxins, especially if you are undergoing conventional
cancer treatment. Ensure the water is fully
filtered. Never drink tap water, even if it
says "safe to drink". See
water for more information on water consumption.
Alkaline v Acidity
Cancer thrives in an acidic environment. To
test your acitity levels invest in a small ph
testing kit; that way you can adjust your diet
to a more alkaline level. See alkalising
diet resources.
Regular Detoxification
Regular bowel movements
are essential in the fight against cancer. If
you body is not detoxifying properly this will
hinder the immune system and many other bodily
processes. Adding freshly ground flax seeds
to cereal first thing in the morning prevents
constipation: increase as needed. See resources
for the best flax seed suppliers.
Apricot kernals
Consume at least 7 kernals
per day with fruit during prevention, and up
to 30 per day if fighting active cancer. See
resources for apricot kernal suppliers.
